Hey ya’ll, it’s Sarah…
I feel like introducing myself as an unconventional leader, the quirky girl who likes to laugh, listen to music and be surrounded by friends. To be honest, it doesn’t always feel like I am wearing leader shoes, but God is teaching me new things that I’m capable of every day. The biggest thing right now is accepting me for me (hence the Flawz video below).
It’s a good start. Did you watch the video? I hope so. I have a few friends who participated in the project and oh how it blesses me! It’s cool to see God’s unique plan for each one of us, flaws and all. I don’t think you are every too young or old to have insecurities from your imperfections. My favorite sign says, “Beautifully flawed.” This is what I want to encourage you with today. We are BEAUTIFULLY FLAWED and it can’t stop us from accomplishing our goals. How great though to know you aren’t alone in your thinking!
Cultivate Her is an opportunity to figure out how to lead as best as you can. Let’s face it, people lead differently (insert sigh of relief). There is so much to read, even more to learn, but at the same time, don’t miss the season you are in right now. Be still. Laugh. Help someone. Smile. Sometimes, all that’s needed is a listener. That’s easy enough. Be in the moment. Love God and Love people (thanks Pete Wilson) – Leading stems from that. Thank you for reading my jumbled thoughts. I hope you are encouraged.
Psalm 139:14
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Do you believe it? I think you should.

I believe I'm flawed
No seriously, great video. And I love that you opened with a nice "ya'll" – it sounds so much more inviting than "you guys"?
I.love.that.video! Thank you my sweet friend. PS YOU NEED YOUR OWN BLOG =)
No but seriously, such an encouragement today. I love it! Thank you Caitlin Crosby!
Love you!
So flawed and I always need to be reminded that that’s ok. Sarah thanks for your perspective on leading where you are… in the moment… as you are.
love your heart sarah!!! thanks for your encouragement and sweet smile!
I love it, thank you for the encouragement! We do need to love one another, flaws and all. And to realize that what we see as flaws, God may have given to create strengths in us.
Thanks for the wisdom Tina. it's a great reminder! God uses ordinary, flawed people for great things – Hebrews 11
This video is precious. I could relate way too much, especially the "crazy hair!!" Thanks for loving me flaws and all! I adore you and don't think you have any flaws for the record
Great word!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the vid. It truly DRIVES it home!!!!
Yup, flawed and hearing God calling me to BE STILL for this season of my life.
Thank you for being a tool that God has used to speak to me.
